Democrat alert! It’s not guns that are the problem – it’s you!

I’ve always pictured the typical Democrat as an egg-sucking sort of individual who likes to talk real fast out of the sides of his mouth. Throughout my life experience, and in almost every instance, I’ve not often been disappointed!

This issue with gun control is a perfect instance of where reason veers off into some other dimension for these individuals. In a perfect Democrat world, the US would be totally without guns; a situation not unlike what we have in other countries, like Egypt for instance. In Egypt, you can count the number of homicides committed by a citizen on one hand in any given year. Of course that doesn’t include the sadistic regime that kills, assaults, maims and dismembers their defenseless citizens as a matter of course. Somehow or other the Progressive mind just cannot wrap itself around that concept.

Yes, it’s true that guns do kill people. In the hands of a sane person, they most often kill evil people and that’s a fact! The trouble occurs when any weapon, be it a gun, truck or high explosive finds their way into the hands of a very unstable individual. Then, all bets are off! (I often wonder when some deranged individual is going to figure out that driving a truck in to a large group of innocents does a lot more damage than any old gun)! This will happen because their out in the public running lose and without drugs or supervision.

But, how often is the topic of mental illness brought up by the Left? How often does (has) our President stood before his ‘subjects’ and talked earnestly about better health care for the mentally ill; this happening at a time when as many as 1 in 5 citizens have been or are currently suffering a mental dysfunction of some sort or the other? Let me answer that – not many.

In like fashion, how much attention have these left winger ideologues placed on the absolute crud that is coming out of Hollywood these days? Where’s the strident call for laws against violent films in that quadrant? I’ll answer that one too – zilch!

I could go on, but I think I’ve got my point across. We’re living now in a society where the wheels are rapidly coming off. A society that is witnessing the destruction of the family unit, church worship and most of the liberties that the Republic was founded to preserve. In its place is a rapidly expanding and progressive society that no sane person would want to live in.
