Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., who earlier in the day lambasted
party leaders for the move, reported after a closed-door meeting with the
speaker that they were told the House would vote Friday on a $9 billion flood
insurance measure, followed by a vote on a $51 billion aid bill Jan. 15.
My thoughts: But
hold on just one political minute! What about them promises (abet tacitly) made to the fair
City of Detroit?
I’d heard that they had all voted for Obama under the assumption that a bail-out
for this city (which is in very deep financial trouble) like gonna happen! So far, they've gotten what – zilch!
Right this minute, Mr. President, a virtual river of cash is needed all over the country as the infrastructure begins crumbling in earnest! Where o where will it come from? Your stash?
