I put together a quick and simple
solution to the Ukraine situation for Obama to review since he seems
to be at loose ends:
- Announce to the world that the US is officially very pissed off!
- Begin meaningful sanctions to begin the process of gutting Russia's economy.
- Announce publicly that we intend to gut Russia's economy.
- Make it a priority for America to drill baby drill like there's no tomorrow!
- Sell our surplus oil and gas to Europe! Let's get Russia's boot off their throats!
- Prioritize the selling of weapons of war directly to the Ukraine government.
- Install anti missile installations in neighboring friendly countries along with some boots on the ground.
- Assemble and deploy elite troops to get to the crash site and secure it. Give Putin maybe ten minutes notice.
- Make it plain, to all who will listen, that even though the President is a major pussy, the vast American majority most definitely is not!
- Sit back and watch Putin scramble for the hills....really, really fast!Seriously, this isn't rocket science. Putin is a small town bully who responds to one thing and one thing only - powers that are bigger than he is. Either lead this great nation or get the hell out of the way!
The sad truth, in my opinion, is that US leadership simply doesn't care what happens to our allies and that stance has been reflected much too often...
