After Meullergate, what will the Democrats do next?

It had been a few days after the release of the redacted version of the Mueller Report and both the media and the Democrats seemed to be at a loss as to what could be done to skewer President Trump. After all, the President had been exonerated on the collusion and obstruction charges and other than a few professional whiners such as Nadler, there seemed little in the way of new conspiracy theories to even talk about.

Meanwhile, Pelosi has performed a 180 on the question of a crisis at the southern border. Why, if you squinted, she almost looked like a Republican these past few days as she finally has recognized that there is a crisis! But, that still begs the question of what the Left was going to do to patch up some gaping holes in their party's platform. Let me count their planks; 1) Hate Trump, 2) Free Healthcare for all, 3) Open borders with sanctuary cities, 4) Increased taxes for all and 5) long term abortions or just plain old infanticide. Did I miss any?

Meanwhile on the Republican side we have; 1) a rebuilt military, 2) the elimination of ISIS, 4) the cutting of regulations concerning businesses, 5) tax breaks for the middle class, 6) energy independence for the first time ever, 7) Low unemployment for all races of citizens... well, I could go on and on. The point being that the past two years have greatly improved the lives of millions of Americans.

So, in about 18 months, America will once again go to the voting booth to select a President with a four year term. Currently, their choice are; Trump versus Sleepy Joe Biden, Gay Pete Buttigieg and that Commie Bernie Sanders. Seriously, of those three Dems, I'd like to see Pete win, if Trump does not, as the country will look so tolerant with a gay President and a man for First Lady. Yep, 2020 is likely to get really interesting.

 

House Judiciary Committee issues subpoena...

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., issued a subpoena Friday to obtain the "complete and unredacted" version of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia report, as well as the underlying materials, a day after the redacted copy was released.

"This includes, but is not limited to, all summaries, exhibits, indices, tables of contents or other tables or figures, appendices, supplements, addenda or any other attachments whether written or attached in a separate electronic format," the subpoena says. See the entire report on Fox News here.

My take on this action is not very good. Nadler and the Democrats continue a course of obstructionism as they only have eyes for hurting Trump. Nadler is truly a piece of crud that has floated to the top of the cesspool that is the Democratic Party in Washington D.C. As much as the party is offended by Meller's findings, just imagine how offended they may become in the midst of a Civil War!
