I’m getting fed up with many things! Especially the government!

 

As my Republic has radically changed so much under Biden, that I cannot any longer recognize it, I’ve decided to make some ‘changes’ in my life….

1. I’ve canceled my Twitter and Facebook accounts due to their moves to the Left.
2. I’m getting ready to cancel my Vonage account due to excessive robo-calls and insanely high Federal taxes for that service.
3. I am ignoring any and all government orders, as I feel they are corrupt, partisan and most often unconstitutional.
4. I am getting ready to cancel my Amazon account due to their invasive privacy issues. Much as I loved the service.
5. I no longer tune into YouTube for reasons of continued sanity. They to will be shit canned in the near future.

In short, I’m now moving in a new ‘direction’ that will eventually take me off the grid, at some point in time. I am taking these actions because I’ve come to believe that the United States is utterly failing and that it will soon be replaced by a cruel and harsh Dictatorship. I believe my country will and is being overrun by foreign nationals, who will help make it become lawless and corrupt.

I also do believe that there are millions who are thinking as I am this day. I would also hope that a few will consider cutting out the ‘crud’ that has crept into our lives. Lastly, God Damn those Democrats to hell who aid and who support a group of left leaning loons, who are tearing this country apart!

Another day in whatever is left!

 

The year 2020 was, and has been a real train wreck, from numerous perspectives. And the really sad thing is... it's not over yet! Sure, there was the Covid-19 virus that China bio-engineered as part of a plot top dis-stabilize world sociopolitical structures. Then, there was the dawning realization that most of the power players in the US do not like the Constitution or the Rule of Law very much and are hell bent on Marxism. Finally, there was a growing sense of doom being experienced by millions....

 But, let me explore these gems one at a time; The Virus – Sometime back in 2019, a coronovirus escaped a level 4 bio-research lab. And, as amazing as that sounds, there were some other questions I had; 1) What was such a nefarious lab (actually two of them) doing in a population dense segment of China (the Whuhan District) in the first place? 2) Why do the Chinese have wet markets just a few miles from the aforementioned labs? 3) How did the World Health Organization fail to alert the rest of the world before that little bugger became an entrenched Pandemic? 4) What the fuck was the Chinese government really doing with this bat virus, in the first place?

So, the Chinese government would have the world believe that they are complete idiots? I mean, if you are going to do research on really some really bad bugs, wouldn't you want to isolate said labs in some remote part of China? I mean a virus can't go anywhere if there are no hosts to carry it. Right? The Score – This accident was intentional and was designed from the ground up to dis-stabilize world power structures.

The Answer – Hold the Chinese government to the fire. Stop buying their products and engineer tough trade deals. Power Players – Over the past two hundred plus years or ever since the founding of the United States of America, the Constitution has remained a bulwark of Freedom. Protecting both the Constitution and the Bill of Rights has been very costly. Past conflicts and wars have killed hundreds of thousands of protectors of those two documents. And the loss was more than worth it, as this Republic under the protections granted its citizens have allowed a fragile construct not only to survive but to thrive in an otherwise very sad world.

Having said that, our form of a Constitutional Representative Republic, is one of the most fragile and easy corrupted forms of governments that there are to choose from. The sad truth is that awarding power to elected officials does occasionally corrupt. And, in the case of some members of Congress this day, that power has corrupted absolutely! Power, however, can be like a drug. The more of it you have the more of it you want. Today, in Washington DC, we have entrenched members of Congress who have long ago given up any consideration of the welfare of the People. Some members of the so-called Deep State have become quasi-Gods... at least in their own minds. They've evolved into political ticks who continually suck at the marrow of a Nation, with no thought to the care of that nation. The majority of these individuals are Democrats. A group with a mindset that only government (meaning only themselves) are smart enough to lead the rest of the citizen sheep down the path of destiny.

Big, all consuming government is the only answer! And of course, as your duly elected representatives, they are the only ones best qualified for the job! The Score – Hitler never enjoyed the amount of support that members of our Congress does today. They have big tech (muscle) and a massive propaganda machine (the media) working for them day and night. Just as Joseph Goebbels understood in pre-war Nazi Germany – Lie so often, that even you believe the lies.

The Answer – Term limits could solve many of our ills. We need those now! Holding mass media accountable would also help. Transforming our educational system back into one where all ideas are promoted, not just the ones of the State is the ultimate answer. Having a brain-washed Gen X and Y rise to power thinking that they deserve a trophy for finishing last will never work out well. Doom and Gloom – When you plan to fail, you will fail every single time. Trump was and remains a cheerleader for progress and a leveling of the playing field for all races. The Democrats only know how to point out things they see as wrong, and then they will tell you how they will fix them. This usually entitles bigger government with more money thrown about. And if everything seems to be running smoothly.. Why, by God, throw in a monkey wrench!

Remember the Democratic motto – Take advantage of every crisis... and if there are none, then by God invent one. The Score – Choose one; big nanny-styled government with little risk and meager handouts. Or, small government with higher risks and perhaps great rewards. America, choose one; Truth or deception. Choose one; Freedom to make your own decisions and to live with them or give those freedoms away to others who will make them for you.... The Answer – Consider holding a Convention of the States to vote to reaffirm the articles of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Hold ANY who violate either fully accountable. Install term limits for both Houses. Enforce the Rule of Law. Maintain both the wall and the Electoral Collage. Support law enforcement. Balance the National budget. Maintain our energy dominance. Relinquish some regulatory control to the individual states. Maintain a strong military posture. Prosecute know domestic terrorists to the fullest extent of the law.... And lastly... 

 LET'S GIVE PRESIDENT TRUMP FOUR MORE YEARS AND THE REST OF OUR NATION, A CHANCE AT GREATER PROSPERITY!

Saturday, Feb 13. One very cold day!

 

No matter how you slice up the day, Saturday the 13th of February, is going to pose a problem for many all over the central part of the the US.

Let me begin with the National Weather Services forecast:

‘By Thursday Feb 11, a reinforcing shot of cold air is expected to slowly filter into the region. This will keep daily highs in the lower to middle 20’s through the upcoming weekend. Cannot rule out highs in the upper teens across central Missouri. Overnight lows through the upcoming weekend will fall into the single digits to lower teens. Add in a light wind and wind chill values will make it feel closer to zero or below. This prolonged period of much below normal temperatures could potentially hang on through the middle of February. However, it is worth noting that some model guidance has backed off a bit on how far south the very cold air mass digs in. This will be assessed in future forecasts.’

So, starting with Thursday, it’s going to get really cold outside. And the very frigid core of that arctic invasion will occur on or about Saturday. (Remember to keep an eye on your pets).

The above scatter chart (that was started on Feb 3) compares actual average temps versus power used. It’s a neat tool that can allow one to predict power demands in the future based on what has happened in the past. (The red line is a power trend line to help with the visualization). Note that on Saturday, with a projected Hi of 21° and a Low of 0° the average temp for the day would be close to 11°. Then it’s easy to see that the purple line representing that average would indicate a power use of 60 kWh’s. That amount of power used would work out costing me ~ 60 kWh * 1.2535/kWh (Liberty Utility rate) = ~$8 for just that one day!

If you trust; Biden, the Democrats, Big Tech, Congress or China... Then, you must be some kind of a special idiot.

Dark times ahead!

Over the past many decades, I've always held a very positive attitude towards the long term future of America. Our Republic has suffered many ups and downs over the past fifty years and has generally come out of each troubled time, stronger than we were before.... Those times are now over, in my opinion.

The thing is, America has been suffering from a metastasizing cancer for some time now. And, it's not just one Party or the other that has contributed fuel to the tumor, it's been partly due all of us. Millions of the citizens of this formerly great Republic have been asleep at the switch, leaving the children we entrusted with piloting our ship of state in charge. And, when you leave children in charge, with little to no supervision and when you've handed them great power and control you invite catastrophic disaster. That just the way of things. When needed supervision is and has been absent, the government becomes bloated and more and more unbalanced. Eventually, the people end up with a true nightmare of chaos and a government that can hardly be recognized as any form of structure that the Founding Fathers ever envisioned.

So, given that Joe will be announced President at some point, here are some events for Americans to look forward to, with some happening almost immediately in 2021;

Establishment of voting base for future elections:

High level priority given to bringing in millions of illegals with many benefits to ensure Party loyalty.

Elimination of the electoral college, placing the vote in the hands of just a few states.

Security measures:

Forcible removal of all guns from US citizens to ensure they cannot rise up in armed revolt.

Limiting travel from state to state to prevent insurgencies from forming.

The establishment of special armed 'control forces' comprised of elements of Antifa.

The banning of all special interest groups, such as BLM, to insure domestic uniformity.

Sociological control measures:

Single government payer of healthcare, with benefits extended to all who would cross our borders.

Takeover of the mass media outlets, by a single source for news dissemination.

International operations:

Signed treaty's with China and Iran to insure that the US become a satellite country. Distancing of the US from European ties.

Taxation policies:

An across the board increase of 7% for all companies making over 100K. A move that will see many pass the increase on to their consumers as a sort of hidden new tax.

THESE WERE JUST A FEW 'CHANGES' OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD. ALL OF THEM (AND MANY MORE) WILL BE SOLEY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE NEW SOCIALIST RULING PARTY. ALL OF THEM WILL BE TO INSTALLED TO INSURE THE CONTROL OF THE MASSES VIA POVERTY LEVEL HANDOUTS.

Stats for Taney County Covid-19 for Oct!

As I am somewhat an OCD kind of individual, I made it a point to track the progress of the Covid-19 virus as much as possible month to month. People, like myself, love numbers. The data seen here represented most of the month opf October 2020.

I apologise if the graphic is a bit blurry. I also want to inform anyone who has an interest, that the Taney County Health Department did not report their figures each day. Rather, there were days when no reporting occured. To fill in those missing days (usually two to three days at a stretch), I extropolated the numbers using an averaging method.

What can be gleamed, almost immediately, was the very slow to no change in the number of deaths! It was basically a flat line, going from 28 to 31 for a net change of 3 individual dying out of a population of more than 56K. Even the newly confirmed cases did not amount to very many getting sick! My thought was, gee, those number are insignificant. This was especially true when one takes into account that the swab or PCR test, that is given after death, can be off by as much as 20%!

So, if these figures are accurate, then why are we all wearing a mask? I mean, I get the social distancing and handwashing, but masks?

Americans everywhere, please think very hard!

China Now! An ongoing work...

CHAPTER ONE

Darryl Kinkaid, a nondescript, even bookish looking sort of man of 42 years, worked as a bio-research scientist in a small Kansas town by the name of Caney. And, as a low level research assistant, he would have likely stayed a completely anomalous nobody... That is, had the fates been more kind. Had they not reared up and slapped him hard in the face.

Working late one rainy Friday night in the basement of a pharmaceutical firm by the name of Para-Quell, Darryl stumbled onto a discovery that would ultimately shake the world to its foundations! But, let us not get to far ahead of ourselves...

Canely, Kansas was the sort of town located in Montgomery County, a county in the south central part of the state, that supported a population of only about twenty two hundred. Most of the citizens, that could work, worked on area farms as paid labor. Few actually owned one, as large conglomerates had swept them up decades ago during the farm acquisition era of the eighties. Really crazy times that saw many a farm owner plunged from relative wealth to day laborers scraping together a less the glamorous living. Darryl worked just outside of town off Interstate 166 on a small dead end street in a lab facility that more resembled a large house than anything else.

Just off to the west ran Sherbil Creek though a stand of ragged scrub scattered about with juniper trees that had seen better days. The house/lab also sported a small barn, and so fitted right into the general landscape. In truth, Para-Quell was a level four bio-research facility that was funded by the government. A fact, that not even Darryl or the townsfolk (for that matter), were aware of. Yes, Canely continued to slumber on in the days ahead. Not unlike much of America.

CHAPTER TWO

Novenber 2020, had come and gone, seeing a new President arise from the obsecurity of a well appointed basement. Newly elected President Sknu Snowdem was a man on a mission. Along with his running mate Mary Hairloop, Snowden had much on his 'Agenda of Change', as he so often liked to call it. Chief among his list of things to do right the hell now, was openning the borders to millions of new Democrats while also ramming gun confiscation down the throughts of a still stunned populace. Shnu knew full well that when the mega taxes hit, that some would go into open revolt. Well, let them throw sticks and stones, he thought, as he hurried into the Senate Chambers. A Senate that now had a plurality of like-minded Democrats who shouted loudly on November the 4th, that 'We will get some changes made, now, damnit!'

Forsyth MO. – The temps certainly went quickly downhill, beginning on Friday, October the 23rd as we were enjoying 80 degree plus temps! Those conditions quickly dropped down in to the 50's! That new regime of 50's and 60's looked to be the new norm as we moved on towards the end of the month!

So, cooler weather was expected to heaad on in, and that meant that I was going to have to dig out some warmer clothing and perhaps a space heater, to help keep my condo at acceptable temps! I always try to keep my electric bills as low as possible. This requires me to restrict my heating to my office area while leaving the rest of the condo much cooler.

November of last year (see graphic) can be all over the place in terms of daytime and nighttime temps. This sort of regime is typical for southwest Missouri when one lives close to the Arkansas border as I do. The only potential fly in the ointment, might be the establishment of a snow pack early on in the northern tier of Midwestern states. Then depending on how the steering current set up, could allow for earlier than normal snowfalls or ice storms to develope over southern Missouri.

The infamous Zebra Mussel invasion of Bull Shoals!

Forsyth MO. - For many decades now, a small striped mussel has been invading fresh water lakes and streams, all across the Midwest! Known as the Zebra Mussel, for its unique striping pattern, this very invasive shellfish is native to the Black, Caspian, and Azov Seas. I understand that somewhere's about 1980, it's believed that the Zebra mussel was introduced, by accident. This occured when a trawler ship arrived from the Black Sea and dumped its ballest into one of the Great Lakes! The progress of the so-called 'invasion' can be seen in this graphic;

I decided to take a walk, on a nice and warm day in October, in River Run Park. River Run had been submerged for much of the past year due to heavy rains. When I arrived, I was amazed to witness a vast number of what looked like minature clams clinging to just about every surface near the Bull Shoals Lake.! There must have been tens of thousands that I could see in the immediate area. (To say these mussels are fast reproducers would be an understatement). I found the following pertaining this amazing reproductive ability; 'Under natural thermal regimes, zebra mussel oogenesis occurs in autumn, with eggs developing until release and fertilization in spring. In thermally polluted areas, reproduction can occur continually through the year. Females generally reproduce in their second year. Eggs are expelled by the females and fertilized outside the body by the males; this process usually occurs in the spring or summer, depending on water temperature.  Spawning may start when the water temperature reaches 12°C and release rate is maximized above 17-18°C (McMahon 1996). Over 40,000 eggs can be laid in a reproductive cycle and up to one million in a spawning season.' Wow! Thankfully, the mortality rate for these guys are very high!

The mussel grows tiny protein like 'hairs', on its ventral or bottom side, that it uses to attach itself firmly to an object. This hold, once established, is said to be stronger than a 'suction cup'!

I contacted the District office of the Corps of Engineers at 870-425-2700 and was informed that they had 'no plans' to do anything other than to address any impacts to the dams they monitor. (One has to really admire this 'can do' attitude). Also, as in most other government office, the Corps office was closed to the public due to the Covid-19 pandemic...

So, for now, I will assume that the invasion will continue unabaited.

Random Thoughts!

A compilation of thoughts coming from the mind of a man with a head full of sand!

Biden/Trump debate – The last debate, before the coming election on November the third, came and went. During that debate, both candidates attempted to win over a tiny bit of the population. Why? Because most had decided who they were voting for quite some time ago. The very few fence sitters also probably walked away still undecided. The thing is, it's very hard to win any debate when one side is held by the truth and passed deeds, while the other feels there is no problems with lying as long as the ends justify the means. That's the Democrats, in a nut shell.

The Virus – As a world races towards a vaccine or actually a number of treatments, The Left continues to squeeze out the last remaining drops from a most convenient crisis. Some questions still remain; 1) Was the virus bio-engineered or not? 2) Was it intentionally released upon the world? 3) Were there elements of the so-called Deep State that were part of some kind of conspiracy? Time will tell, as all will be revealed in time.

Level Four Bio-research Labs – Level four is the highest level for isolating dangerous virons from ever escaping and yet that is exactly what happened in the population dense city of Whuhan, China. It is the largest city in Hubei and the most populous city in Central China, with a population of over 11 million, the ninth-most populous Chinese city. So, not the best location to have an accidental release occur. And Whuhan has two such labs, both situation rather close to the infamous, so-called wet markets where all sort of live animal and sea food is sold. Now, while I may not be the crispest cracker in the box, I was wondering if it would be a better idea to have these labs in locations with little or no local populations. Call me crazy, but if there's no on around and a virus escapes, then would not said virus just simply die? Isn't that correct. Better yet, by world dictate, why not restrict any such lab to a location in Antarctica! Food for thought!

One rainy afternoon!

One rainy afternoon, while I was lounging around at a favorite watering hole of mine, one Bobby Carter breezed in holding a plastic bag out in front of his body. And, I noticed that whatever was inside had evidently also garnered the attention of a few flies.

“Y'all want these here streaks?”, Bobby asked as he strode up to the bar. “They come all the way from Nixa!”

I glanced from looking up at Bobby, down to the bag he had placed just below my nose and frowned. A rather unpleasant order had begun an assault on my senses and at that exact moment, I understood why the flies had so much apparent interest!

“Steaks? What sort of steaks?” I asked with some interest.

Smiling, Booby plunked the bag down on the bar and intoned.... 'Why, my semi-inebriated friend, this here's three, count em, three one pounder T-boners!”

Wow, I thought, as I placed a hand on the package. “ Hey! These steaks are frozen!”

'Yes sir”, Bobby responded with a smile. “ Them there slab of beef has been frozen for like a whole year!” He knocked his knuckles on the package producing a dull thump for emphasis. 'They might even had a touch of freezer burns and so that's why they're also free!”

“Well, I guess I'll take em anyways”, I responded. “DanO never passes up a good piece of meat!” I also had realized that the odor must have been coming from somewhere else.

----------------------- I got home later that day, and tossed two of the steaks in my freezer, while positioning the third one in the refrigerator to thaw. Before doing that, I did weight the steak and found it came to 17 ounces. Wow!

The next day, that steak was still partly frozen but a close inspection revealed no freezer burn at all. To say that I was thrilled would be an understatement. I decided to leave the meat in the fridge for one more day before attempting to grill and eat it.

S-Day – Standing for 'Steak Day' had arrived! I wanted to do things right, so I had planned to grill that behemoth steak over a hot charcoal fire. This was going to be the first time all year I'd grilled out and so it was sort of a special occasion.

Outside, the weather had turned quite warm for the time of year, about 80 or so by early afternoon. I had positioned a small grill on a metal table on the balcony of my third floor condo and was waiting for the charcoal briquettes to get hot. Over in the kitchen was a single Russet potato that was baking in a portable convection oven. Life was good.

Before you could read page one of a novelette, the steak was done along with a potato that had been in the oven for about 35 minutes. I grabbed it and threw it on a plate before going out to recuse the now slightly rare steak from getting overdone. I then sat down on a couch next to a coffee table and proceeded to chow down.

How was that steak? It was audacious, great tasting and all that it could be! Yes sir, that steak when added to a baked potato and salad, was everything the average man craves in the way of memorable meals.
