The mindless uproar over guns!

Imagine, if you would, that there were no media outlets other than the types that existed prior to the modern era. So, there would be like three stations on the black and white TV, some newspapers, AM radio and people gossiping... of course.

The school shooting down in Florida would likely show up as a small piece in your local paper, citing the actions of a lunatic. The five o'clock news on TV might also mention it briefly as a terrible event and then would move on. And that would be it. No barrage of 24/7 news coverage, no political leveraging, no social sites all exploiting and blowing up the event beyond all reason. And if that sounds cold, just remember that people are dying all over the world all the time. You might be surprised to lean that yesterday about 55 million died around the world and guess what? That will be the same number today and tomorrow.

The truth is, we all live in a rather violent world. Any time you get more than a few individuals together, disagreements will arise. Given enough people and some time, and a war or two will break out. Natural disasters also take a toll on the population and there is really nothing to be done about that, either. We are born, we all wonder what the heck is happening and then we die....

Until and when some basic human changes take effect over how we all relate to one another, there are going to be problems with some resulting in death. Please understand, I'm not trying to belittle the events that occurred at Parkland. They were truly horrific. But, what does concern me, is the manner in which a few political groups with personal axes to grind, always try to take a disaster and turn it in a manner that will further their party's goals. Such blatant demagoguery only muddies the waters, divides people and never gets to the real cause of the problem. In the case of mentally ill students, stringent gun control measures will all be likely to fail, as a sick mind is often a brilliant mind that will work around any such societal feel good bandages. Screening measures by trained school personnel, site hardening, improved background checks, strong lines of communications and the installing of weapons in the hands of trained teachers all make some common sense to me. Let's fix this problem and then get down to the very serious business of healing the divide that is bringing our great Republic to a virtual standstill..

California! The puke state of the Nation!

I would personally like for anyone looking to see sights they could never see in the rest of the country, to come to the Democratic vision that is California. Where cities, like San Francisco have streets filled with waste, human feces, urine stained sidewalk along with bags of used needles strewn hither and yon! Wow! Who wouldn't want to put done roots there?

And this just in....

California Gov. Jerry Brown signed a bill on Saturday, Feb 24, that guarantees that teachers cannot shoot back if they come under attack at school! And sheep just look on and softly bleat....

Chapter 8 of the Democratic playbook!

Take an otherwise healthy society; inject it with biased political and media coverage, coveted homosexuality, transgender bathrooms, a disrespect for the national flag, disintegrating core family units and a turning away from God... What you will end up with, is a complete wasteland with a central doorway leading right to the gates Hell!

A recipe for disaster!

Waffen-SS officer in the Urkraine in 1941
In his book entitled Liberal Fascism , Jonah Goldberg argued that both modern liberalism and fascism descended from progressivism, and that before World War II, "fascism was widely viewed as a progressive social movement with many liberal and left-wing adherents in Europe and the United States". Goldberg writes that there was more to fascism than bigotry and genocide, and argues that those characteristics were not so much a feature of Italian fascism, but rather of German Nazism, which was allegedly forced upon the Italian fascists "after the Nazis had invaded northern Italy and created a puppet government in Salò."

Fascism is more simply defined as a form of government which is a type of one-party dictatorship. Fascists are against democracy. They work for a totalitarian one-party state. ... Such a state is led by a strong leader—such as a dictator and a martial government..

The question before the American people today is just what are the Democrats really up to? Recent events have shown some Democratic players attempted to throw the last election thinking that they knew better than the average person. Hillary proved she could not be trusted and the American voter sensed that. During eight years in office, Obama's record of gun prosecutions went steadily downwards the entire time of his office. He seemed to care more for illegals than for his citizens whom he was sworn to protect. Yet, while he was in office, he actively sought to create a very porous southern border with millions of illegals, crooks and drug carrying mules literally walking in and settling among us. As a Nation, we're still licking our wounds over that one.

Nancy Pelosi has indicated she wants to place stringent gun control as a main focus for the 2018 and 2020 elections. If she and some other far left activists could have it their way, guns would be confiscated, so that only select government authorities and forces could carry them. (Even the local police would re relegated to the carrying of batons)! Some did everything in their power to dilute the military and our footprint in the world. In the eight years that the Democrats had some measure of control, things when from bad to worse in many Middle Eastern countries which resulted in millions of refugees flooding outwards like a plague.

No, I'm not saying that everything the Democratic Party stands for is bad or wrong. What I am saying is that I would not trust them to run a Kool-Aid stand during a hot summer or any business where profit, efficiency, and the rule of law were of paramount importance! That's my opinion,  at any rate, and I'm posting it while I still can.
